Months ago, in fact, I think well before Lana was a year or so, I had taken her shopping with me in Target. She was growing fussy and I was near the baby snack aisle, so I grabbed a bag of the Plum Organics Little Cremes and gave her one. The age says 9 months+ so I thought hey, these are non-milk and look to be okay. Within seconds, I was frantically trying to lift Lana out of the cart as she was choking with no sound of air getting into her lungs. A woman came by and helped me pat Lana’s back and suddenly out of nowhere, I heard the sound that made complete relief flood my body, an intense cry.
I thought perhaps it was just Lana trying to swallow without chewing, but over the next month or so, every single time we would give them to her, she would nearly choke. I even resorted to breaking the Little Cremes in half!
Fast forward to Monday… when I saw this from Plum Organics: Voluntary Recall of Little Cremes.
I guess I am relieved to know Lana isn’t the only one, but in hindsight, perhaps I should have reported it to Plum Organics?!
